Mistie Bastian

Meet Mistie, our Branch Manager at the Green River office. Mistie has been in banking for 25 years and we’re lucky enough to have her at DRCU for the past 6 years.

Her favorite colors are pink and green. She doesn’t play sports but they “watch any and every sport on TV at her house, including Major League Fishing!” (Thanks to her husband). She says, “I like to watch basketball and football or any sport that my kids are playing.”

She enjoys listenubg to any music (except the really heavy-metal, screaming stuff) and was a huge Rick Springfield fan back in the ’80s.

Her favorite hobby is definitely reading! She loves mysteries and “scary”! She likes James Patterson, Harlen Coben, Stephen King and Dean Koontz. She says, “I can read 2 or 3 books a week! If I am reading a good book, don’t ask what’s for dinner, because I’m not cooking any!” She also says, “I love scary books, but don’t make me watch a scary movie!” But she does love to watch Disney movies. Her favorite TV shows are “Criminal Minds”, “NCIS”, “Law and Order SVU”, etc.

She married Buss 27 years ago and has 2 daughters – Cassidy (22) and Morgan (17). They have one cat, “Piper.” She loves the small town life in Green River, Utah!
